　　Maxim Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Immunization Nurse. The Immunization Nurse administers immunizations in a clinic type setting.

　　Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

　　Meet professional standards and pertinent regulations.

　　Maintain and deliver quality service.

　　Set up individual sites.

　　Register clients.

　　Obtain informed consent.

　　Administer vaccine.

　　Dispose of bio-hazardous waste.

　　Dismantle site.

　　Complete documentation.

　　Knowledge of Universal Precautions.

　　Knowledge of Maxim clinic policy and procedure.

　　Knowledge of emergency action to be taken; including epinephrine administration during an anaphylaxis reaction.

　　Knowledge of protocols for adverse reaction, reporting of incidents and injuries.

　　Storage and transportation of necessary supplies to include vaccine.

　　Other duties as assigned

　　Minimum Requirements:

　　Active license in the state of assignment

　　Current CPR certification.

　　Current PPD or Chest x-Ray

　　Professional references.

　　Knowledge and understanding of the dosage, administration, indications, precautions, contraindications and possible adverse reactions related to the vaccine being administered.

　　Knowledge of intramuscular injection technique and subcutaneous injection technique.

　　Successful completion of testing process.
