The University of Chicago's Department of Radiology is searching forfull-time faculty members at any rank. Appointees will be comfortablewith all aspects of Pediatric Radiology (conventional radiography,fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI).

As full-time faculty members, appointees will contribute to patientcare, medical education, and scholarship, and join a vibrant anddistinguished community of faculty colleagues and learners at UChicagoMedicine, the Biological Sciences Division, the Pritzker School ofMedicine, and the University of Chicago and its affiliates. Other dutieswill include training and supervision of medical students, residents,and fellows. There are numerous opportunities for collaborationavailable within the University and with community partners. Academicrank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits)are dependent upon qualifications.

The University of Chicago Medical Center is designated as a both a Level1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center and operates a nationally-recognizedburn unit. Comer Children's Hospital is an integrated children'shospital that offers a full complement of pediatric services with atotal of 172 general pediatric, NICU and PICU beds. The Department ofRadiology includes more than 80 full-time faculty members, clinicalassociates, and postdoctoral researchers. In addition to teachingmedical students, residents and fellows, our faculty conductcutting-edge translational and clinical research. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have amedical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medicallicensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be Board certified or eligible inRadiology, and 4) have completed a Pediatric Radiology fellowship orhave equivalent experience in pediatric radiology.
