We are looking for a PC support technician to join our IT team and provide technical support for our network and systems in Portsmouth, VA. You will be responsible for maintaining, installing, and configuring workstations, Ethernet network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems. You will also support network and system vulnerability assessment and remediation, backups and disaster recovery, and assist in developing network operations policies, standards, and procedures.

You are a problem-solver who excels as diagnosing, analyzing and resolving various technical problems that might arise in the network and systems. Minimum Requirements:
Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain an Active Secret Clearance
Associate’s Degree in an Information Technology related discipline (Information Technology, Computer Science, Information System Management, or related field) and 2+ years of IT/IA experience
Experience in System/Network Administration
Experience in Server Administration
Experience in Information System Security
Understanding of DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10
Understand ITIL overview and tier structure
Understanding of various Desktop Management Systems such as antivirus software, patch management and software delivery
Ability to travel as required
