We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Manager to join our team in New York. As a Payroll Manager, you will be expected to manage the payroll process for a large team and handle data-driven tasks. Although the role does not involve people management, the ability to handle multi-state payroll, particularly with California, is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently managing the payroll for a large employee base

• Handling data-driven tasks related to payroll

• Responsible for multi-state payroll, with a preference for experience in California

• Ensuring compliance with payroll taxes and managing monthly journal entries

• Administering 401k and reconciling payroll

• Auditing payroll transactions and maintaining accurate records

• Handling accounting functions related to payroll

• Dealing with payroll tax returns and reporting

• Managing vendor relationships related to payroll

• Experience with union payroll is required

• Overseeing benefit functions related to payroll.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing payroll

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Functions related to payroll

• Extensive experience in Auditing payroll records

• Ability to manage Benefit Functions in relation to payroll

• Experience in managing Payroll - Union

• Proficient in handling Multi State Payroll

• In-depth understanding of Payroll Taxes

• Experience in preparing Payroll Tax Returns

• Proficient in Payroll Tax Reporting

• Experience managing Payroll for over 500 Employees

• Ability to Reconcile Payroll effectively

• Experience in handling Payroll Transactions

• Strong relationship management skills with Payroll Vendors
