Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Clerk in San Jose, California. This role is within a smaller business environment and primarily involves processing payroll and managing invoicing tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate data entry of employee hours for weekly payroll processing

• Use of Paychex for payroll management

• Efficient handling of invoicing tasks using QuickBooks

• Submitting invoices via Ariba-Copa and emails to bill clients

• Ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of customer credits

• Monitoring of customer accounts and taking necessary actions

• Assistance with Accounts Payable tasks as required

• Checking data entries made by other staff

• Processing both direct deposit and physical checks for staff

• Maintenance of payroll records for a team of 15-25 staff members. Requirements • Demonstrable knowledge and experience in Payroll management

• Proficiency in handling Weekly Payroll

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) management

• Proficiency in QuickBooks software for accounting tasks

• Skilled in using Paychex for payroll processing
