　　Robert Half is seeking a Payroll Assistant to join the dynamic, fast-growing team at one of our clients! In this role, the candidate will be required to support the Payroll department in a variety of duties, including data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. You should have the ability to communicate effectively with both the internal team and outside customers. 　　Major responsibilities

　　Build and run custom reports

　　File, scan, fax, and perform other clerical duties as required

　　Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system

　　Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system

　　Administer instruction/training to employees regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc.

　　Communicate with organization employees via a variety of channels to obtain approvals of timesheets

　　Administer and distribute reports as instructed

　　Requirements

　　Strong attention to detail

　　3+ years of previous payroll experience

　　Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

　　Payroll software experience preferred

　　Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data

　　Proven ability to quickly learn new systems

　　Strong communication and social skills

　　Practical knowledge of Timekeeping Systems

　　Foundational knowledge in FMLA

　　Microsoft Excel experience highly preferred

　　Adeptness in W-4 forms

　　General familiarity with Timekeeping software
