Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll and Benefit Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing both union and non-union payroll processes, with a deep understanding of multistate payroll, including California payroll regulations. Job Duties:
Payroll Processing:
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for both union and non-union employees.
Ensure accurate and timely payroll disbursements, including deductions, withholdings, and benefits.
Handle retroactive pay adjustments and calculations as needed.
Union Compliance:
Stay updated on union agreements and ensure compliance with all payroll-related provisions.
Collaborate with union representatives to address any payroll concerns or discrepancies.
Benefit Administration:
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and facilitate open enrollment processes.
Coordinate and administer leaves of absence, including FMLA leaves.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Payroll and Benefit Administrator, with a focus on both union and non-union environments.
Proficiency in ADP software for payroll processing.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll calculations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
