Description
Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Administrator to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various payroll functions, including data entry, administration tasks, spreadsheet maintenance, accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with regional regulations. The Payroll Administrator will play a crucial role in handling vacation time, timekeeping, and fielding calls related to benefits. Additionally, the role involves managing monetary adjustments, calculating hiring bonuses, and handling holiday pay calculations.
Responsibilities:
Data Entry:
Accurately inputting employee information into the payroll system.
Ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Administrative Tasks:
Handling administrative duties related to payroll processes.
Coordinating with other departments to gather necessary information.
Spreadsheet Maintenance:
Maintaining and updating payroll-related spreadsheets.
Organizing and tracking financial data.
Accurate Documentation:
Ensuring accurate and detailed documentation of payroll transactions.
Keeping records in compliance with company policies and regulations.
Export Information to Regional:
Compiling and exporting payroll information to regional offices.
Collaborating with regional teams to ensure seamless data transfer.
Vacation Time and Timekeeping:
Managing and tracking employee vacation time.
Overseeing timekeeping processes to ensure accuracy.
Benefits Administration:
Fielding calls and inquiries related to employee benefits.
Collaborating with regional offices on benefits reporting.
Monetary Adjustments:
Handling monetary adjustments, such as salary changes and deductions.
Ensuring accuracy in financial calculations.
Hiring Bonus and Holiday Pay Calculations:
Calculating and processing hiring bonuses.
Managing holiday pay calculations and disbursements.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in data entry and spreadsheet management.
Knowledge of relevant software and tools for payroll administration.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
