Are you an experienced Payroll Specialist looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our clients dynamic team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions, including salary payments, benefits, and tax withholdings. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance. You will collaborate closely with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee queries. The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with a keen eye for accuracy and confidentiality. salary: $27 - $30 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: Bachelors
Responsibilities
o Daily review and getting resolution to exceptions.
o Process payroll; occasional weekend processing required.
o Validate & save reports, including generating and producing ADP reporting.
o Create JE from ADP's GL Interface, upload, verify data to reports saved and post within ERP. Move payroll
cycle forward.
o Create accruals at month end.
o Process all employee wage increases and any retro amounts in ADP, HRIS & ERP
o Process all employee new hires, changes and terminations in ADP, HRIS & ERP
o Supply instructions to new employees on how to register for ADP access.
o Review and change all sick and vacation accruals according to policies. Generate sick and vacation accrual
JE's as needed.
o Work with ADP on getting all employees into one Co. Code.
o Learn Delmiaworks regarding JE generation and integration with ADP.
o Process miscellaneous deductions such as med reimbursements or referral bonus.
o Process and keep spreadsheets for bonus payouts.
o Update weekly payroll & 401(k) spreadsheets kept for reference.
o Work closely with HR on various employee issues.
