The pay range for this position is $15.66-$22.17 based on direct and relevant experience. RAYUS Radiology, formerly Center for Diagnostic Imaging and Insight Imaging, is looking for a Patient Transporter to join our team. As a Patient Transporter, you will provide assistance to technologists by transporting patients to and from medical floors and the ER and assisting in other areas that allows them to maintain an on-time schedule and provide patients with outstanding customer service. This is a per-diem position with varying shifts and is located at our Garfield Imaging Center in Monterey Park, CA. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (90%) Technologist Support & Patient Transport * Greets and transports in-patients to and from medical floors and out-patients to and from changing rooms with a focus on delivering quality care and maintaining patients' safety * Helps the technologist stay on time by having the next patient ready before the current patient is ready to get off the table, even if you are working on other tasks * Assists patients on and/or off table when requested by technologist * Pulls patient jackets for upcoming procedures * Assist in processing x-ray films * Digitizes films to assist in CR upgrade * Prepares patient jackets and compiles films putting them together in appropriate jacket according to date and number * Assists in room set up between patients, including putting proper coil on table and putting previous coil away and changing table sheet * Helps in stocking and cleaning work and control areas and rooms * Organizes and cleans supply closet and computer rooms * Ensures departmental equipment is properly disinfected and in good working order * Performs filing, film delivery and other clerical duties as needed * Checks with technologists, IC, Medical Records and/or Front Office for additional duties as needed (10%) Completes other duties as assigned * High school diploma or equivalent * Strong customer service skills RAYUS is committed to delivering clinical excellence in communities across the U.S., driven by our passion for and superior service to referring providers and patients.
