  This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 9:30am - 6:00pm EST. Our office is located at 6 Neptune Rd, Poughkeepsie, NY

  We offer 2 weeks of paid training. This will be on the job training and the hours during training will be 8:30am to 5pm EST, Monday - Friday.

  Primary Responsibilities:

  Provide quality Customer Service to the patients and visitors courteously and promptly Verify and update patient account information in the Misys system according to Front Desk policy and procedures Works routinely with Patient Assistance or the Insurance Leader(s) with patient account and/or Insurance inquiries Follow the Cash Security policy and procedures according to CAREMOUNT MEDICAL guidelines Maintains work area and patient waiting room routinely and in a neat and orderly manner Maintain knowledge of individual physicians scheduling requirements and preferences Uphold a professional image and environment at the front desk within CAREMOUNT MEDICAL Provide patient support and respond to requests for information in a courteous and timely manner Performs related work as required

  Required Qualifications:

  High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent experience Must be 18 years old OR older 2+ years of call center or high volume customer service phone experience. Ability to work our normal business hours of 9:30am - 6:00pm EST

  Preferred Qualifications:

  2+ years of experience in a medical practice environment Computer skills - Microsoft Office (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel)

  New York Residents Only: The hourly range for New York residents is $16.00 - $27.31 per hour.
