Transfers patients in/out of wheelchairs using bodymechanics techniques. * Follows clinic protocol in alerting appropriatepersonnel in emergency situations. * Handles customer concerns inhelpful, objective manner, involving manager as appropriate. * Arrangesfor necessary transportation including cabs, clinic vans. * May assistin maintaining waiting areas. * Maintain lost and found. PerformanceRequirements: * Knowledge of customer service concepts includingimportance of appropriate image. * Knowledge of clinicpolicies/procedures, department locations/personnel. * Knowledge ofemergency protocols. * Skill in appropriate welcoming techniques. *Skill in providing current directions to visitors. * Skill in behavingappropriately in all situations including emergencies and use ofequipment. * Ability to communicate clearly and positively with alltypes of customers and can establish/maintain cooperative workingrelationships. * Ability to follow oral and written instructions. *Ability to maintain attractive lobby/waiting areas. *Education/Experience/Certifications: * High school diploma or GED. *Minimum of one year customer service experience or volunteer positionpreferred.Non-Essential Duties: Other duties as assigned * TypicalWorking Conditions: * Office setting, well-lighted, well-ventilated.May be exposed to communicable diseases.
