Description

　　Patient Care Technician at Providence St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA. Position available is full-time and will work 12-hour shifts on Night/Day. On this unit you will work with post-operative surgical patients as well as neurological patients Under general supervision of a RN, the Patient Care Technician is responsible for providing basic nursing care for patients, including assisting patients with activities of daily living and providing a clean and safe environment. Performs 12 lead EKG under the direction of a RN or Nurse Manager. The Patient Care Technician is responsible for collecting and reporting of information to the supervising RN and completion of all patient care related documentation.

　　Required Qualifications:

　　Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

　　1 year Cardiac Telemetry/Step Down:

　　Acute care experience.

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Upon hire: 12 Lead EKG Certification.

　　1 year Acute care experience as a CNA.

　　Cardiac Telemetry/Step Down:

　　Cardiac Monitoring experience.
