PCAs perform duties including, but not limited to, ADLs, vital signs, I and Os, 12 lead ECG, bladder scan, hygiene and venipuncture where applicable. Familiarity with using wheelchairs, EKG equipment, patient assistive devices, and patient care equipment specific to assigned population. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills both written and verbal, as well as, exhibiting strong organizational skills and work ethic, demonstrates a professional demeanor when responding to patients and customers, basic computer data entry skills. Experience in a large teaching hospital preferred.
