Patient Care Coordinator!
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Patient Care Coordinator in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This role is situated within the high tech industry, specifically within the realm of Pharmacy/Biotech. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive patient experience, managing administrative and operational functions, and coordinating patient interactions and needs.
Responsibilities:
• Engage with patients, obtaining potential referrals and understanding current marketing promotions.
• Handle customer service responsibilities including answering inbound calls and resolving customer inquiries.
• Conduct outbound marketing activities and follow-up calls to potential and existing patients to drive appointment scheduling and clinic revenue generation.
• Maintain an accurate account of billing functions and perform data entry tasks.
• Manage the office supply inventory and maintain the office environment to ensure it is always patient-ready.
• Work directly with patients to collect all insurance documentation, adhering to current HIPAA laws.
• Oversee the scheduling of appointments using company protocols and internal scheduling database software.
• Handle sensitive matters and interactions with patients with tact, courtesy, and discretion.
• Utilize technical skills with computer systems and MS Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently.
Requirements
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Proficient in answering inbound calls and handling both inbound and outbound calls effectively
• Demonstrated ability in executing billing functions accurately and efficiently
• Strong customer service skills to ensure patient satisfaction
• Experience in outbound marketing to drive patient engagement
• Ability to handle authorizations in a timely and compliant manner
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
