  Patient Access Specialist

  ​ The Patient Access Specialist is responsible for performing all aspects of the Patient Access function including registration of patients, rating appropriate financial class, obtaining appropriate insurance information and scheduling patient appointments while maintaining department quality standards. Specialist is also responsible for symptom and temperature screenings of hospital visitors.

  Position is PRN status and is scheduled on an as-needed basis. 

  Qualifications 

  High school diploma or equivalent

  One year clerical experience

  Ability to use a computer

  Previous registration experience in a medical setting preferred
