Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Contracts Manager to join our amazing culture. In the role, you will provide overall management of bid and turnover documentation as it relates to specifications and contracts. This role will be responsible for assisting Sales and Operations in mitigating risks. The position involves identifying scope gaps, ensuring favorable contracts as it relates to scope and providing Operations a project that can be executed under budget. Responsible for ensuring successful review of Security and Life Safety specifications and contracts.
Responsible for amending and modifying contracts to meet corporate requirements. Ensures clear and concise contract language in order to avoid problems later in the process (e.g. minimizing project scope slippage).
Interfaces on a daily basis with Account Executives, Sales Estimators, Project Managers, Operations Supervisors, Local Leadership and CDC Legal team.
Maintain contract files in accordance with all required regulations and Support all Government mandated contractual reporting requirements including assistance with the submittal process as it pertains to meeting project specifications and contractual guidelines.
Administer and manage current and new contracts, modifications, updates (adding services and products), and periodic reporting.
Engage relevant stakeholders in negotiation decisions involving legal or regulatory requirements, contract standards and cost targets.
Provide red-line recommendations on contracts.
Review project specifications including all addendums prior to bid reviews to understand liability and risk to help minimize project scope slip.
Maintain and update records that are pertinent to contractual success and development.
Execute negotiation strategies that minimize potential losses and benefit the organization’s financial performance.
Develop standards for contracts, including presentation of general language and provisions.
Ensure consistent management of all proposals and contracts. This generally includes oversight of the contract management process, as well as development of specific standards for bidding and submission.
Provide guidance on contract matters to project managers or other operational staff, including training to new project managers and other colleagues in contracting practices and procedures.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Requirements:
Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferredMinimum Experience: 5+ years contract vehicle compliance/administration and proposal development
Understands the proposal development processes and procedures, coordinating task to meet applicable deadlines
Extensive knowledge reviewing and making recommendations involving Division 26 & Division 28
Preferred Experience (but not required):
