FTE: 1.000000 Shift: 1 Job Summary: The Patient Access ServiceRepresentative (PASR), follows the Froedtert and the Medical CollegePerformance Excellence Customer Service Standards. Greets and arrivespatients. Verifies and updates demographic information. Collects moniesfor copays, supplies, and services rendered. Balances daily cashcollections. Obtains patient signatures. Assists patients with ancillaryappointment scheduling and forms. Schedules, cancels, and reschedulespatient appointments. Answers and directs telephone calls. EXPERIENCEDESCRIPTION: Previous experience in a healthcare setting. One year ofexperience as a receptionist/assistant or work in a customer servicefield. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: High School diploma or equivalent isrequired. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Effective communication skills,oral and written required. Ability to multi-task. Strong proactiveorganizational skills a must. Must have excellent customer serviceskills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word. Knowledge ofmedical terminology and EpicCare is preferred. Proficiency in MicrosoftExcel is preferred.
