The Patient Access Representative is responsible for greeting incoming patients and visitors, performing all patient registration duties including entering pertinent patient information, explaining various registration forms, verifying insurance eligibility, and collecting payment for services while providing excellent care and service to patients, guests and fellow employees at all times. This position requires some independent judgment and working knowledge of department procedures related to work performed to contribute to the efficient operation of the department.
