PATIENT ACCESS II

　　* Full Time - Patient Access Representative Position*

　　80 hours/pay -- Full Benefits

　　M - F, 8:30am-5:00pm

　　Scheurer Hospital, a critical access rural hospital, is looking for a full time Patient Access Representative II. 

　　Responsibilities:

　　Register inpatient, swing bed, and observation patientsSchedule outpatient department visits and educate patients on any necessary prep instructionsSubmit data for Consumer ProductsMay work as a Receptionist or registrar if neededMay work different shifts as neededCollect payments at the time of registration and maintain the Michigan standard of error-free accountsAbide by the Scheurer Health Behavioral StandardsRequirements

　　High school diploma or GED equivalentMinimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare settingExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applicationsKnowledge of medical terminology and insurance verificationAbility to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
