  Note: Relocation assistance is not provided.

  The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND .

  Your Responsibilities

  As a Part-Time Student-Maintenance Engineering for Waterloo Works located in Waterloo, IA you will process Preventative Maintenance (PM) work orders by:

  Organizing and filing PM's and work orders.

  Ordering parts needed and kitting them.

  Transferring data from the calibration PM's to the server.

  Work with maintenance engineers on PM updates.

  Assist in work order backlog tracking and completion.

  Assist the maintenance supervisors and maintenance engineers for project planning.

  This position is not available to students on immigration visas.

  What Skills You Need

  Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in a manufacturing engineering or construction management discipline; others may apply.

  Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited college/university.

  Graduation date of May 2025 or later.

  Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.

  Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly.

  Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly.

  Must be able to commute to work location in Waterloo, Iowa on a daily basis year-round.

  Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  Must be able to manage projects including planning, installation, and implementation.
