Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consultingfirm, has a part-time, limited-term position available for a culturalresources intern starting in May/June 2024 through the Fall of 2024. Thehours for this position could vary weekly from 0 to 30, and potentiallysometimes be more than 40. This position will focus on built environmentresources and offer an opportunity to conduct research, author propertydescriptions and histories, develop historic contexts, conduct fieldsurveys to document historic properties, and collaborate with a diverseproject team. Travel will be necessary.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have completed at least two years ofundergraduate coursework in Architectural History; American Studies;History; Public History; Historic Preservation; LandscapeArchitecture, or a closely related field.
The ideal candidate will possess any/all of the following:Strong research and writing skillsUnderstanding of American history and architectural stylesAvailability to conduct fieldworkMaster's level coursework in Architectural History; American Studies;History; Public History; Historic Preservation; LandscapeArchitecture, or a closely related fieldIf you have strong communication and organizational skills, areself-motivated, and can work well both independently and as part of ateam, complete the online application process for this job posting atwww.meadhunt.com/careers.
