Job Title: Parts Clerk
Reports to: Maintenance Coordinator
Effective Date: December 2023
Direct Reports: None
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Description and Essential Functions
Supports the Maintenance department by ensuring an adequate inventory ofbus parts:
Orders parts, receives them upon delivery, verifies count to ensureaccurate quantity and quality
Uses automotive parts catalogs to identify the correct parts to beordered
Collects multiple price quotes to achieve the best price and products
Maintains accurate inventory by monitoring and updating inventory
Performs annual inventory audit
Sends out weekly bids on stocked parts for reorder
Receives and reconciles invoices
Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
[]{#Hlk115848438}[]{#Hlk110265263}A combination of education and/orexperience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilitiesto perform the essential functions of the position. Additionalexperience, as outlined below, may be substituted for the requirededucation on a year-for-year basis.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; one(1) year of experience in inventory control preferred. Experience in theautomotive industry preferred.
Essential Job Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeSuite and Google products. Strong verbal and written communicationskills, ability to multi-task, be highly organized, have attention todetail, flexibility, and the ability to negotiate with multiple vendors.Ability to communicate with a diverse population, work effectively in anenvironment with multiple competing priorities, and precision ininventory control. Fork-lift experience is preferred but willing totrain.
