Position Summary
The Partner Business Manager acts as the liaison between Miovision and its channel and strategic partners, and is responsible for building, maintaining and managing long term relationships with current and prospective partners. A Partner Business Manager is focused on developing and expanding partnerships to maximize growth objectives of the company through training, business planning, developing go-to-market strategies, executing demand generation activities, and establishing regional business goals, objectives and success measures with each partner. Partner Business Managers are a core member of the selling organization, working alongside a team of Account Executives, Marketers, Customer Success Managers, and Customer Support Specialists to help drive a cohesive strategy within the regional partners.
Key Accountabilities
Partner Relationships and Development - Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts
Partner Operations - Pre Sales - Own and manage several business and operational processes with each partner including quote-to-cash, partner sell-in, lead management through partner portal and pipeline creation/management.
Partner Operations - Post Sales - Manage partner interface with multiple post sales process teams within Miovision. Work to improve post sales performance based on defined KPIs and historical performance.
Business Planning - Work collaboratively with regional partners to build and deliver on weekly/quarterly/annual plans, with a particularly emphasis on both reflection and forward planning
Partner Enablement - Develop and deliver a tailored partner enablement plan that specifically targets partner performance in territory.
Skills/Qualifications
3+ years experience in a channel or partner sales capacity or a quota carrying software sales role focused on SMB/B2B/B2G in a high tech environment
College or University degree in Business/Marketing/Engineering
Experience working in the traffic industry with a traffic distributor, engineering firm, consultant firm, OEM, or other relevant traffic role in a customer facing position is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop strong, trusting and long lasting partnerships
Ability to present solution overviews, roadmap sessions and presentations in front of groups and executives
Ability to identify and cultivate strategic partners and help partner maximize revenue opportunities; ability to plan and execute go-to-market activities with partners
Deep experience with understanding partner sales cycles, methods of training and motivating, and experience responding to partner conflict
Ability to develop detailed partner business plans, measure success against those plans, and facilitate structured QBR’s (Quarterly Business Reviews) with key partner stakeholders
Track record of over-achieving quotas - sales awards, President’s club
Structured CRM experience ie. SalesForce
Ability to communicate transformative vision and value proposition to the partner
