About Parks Maintenance Worker

　　JOB REQUIREMENTS: Performs general and preventative maintenance work onpark and zoo buildings, grounds, facilities and amenities. Operatesequipment to perform maintenance and construction related tasks in parkand zoo facilities. Tasks include, but are not limited to, landscaping,mowing, trimming, removing snow, applying herbicide, and maintainingathletic fields and zoo facilities. Monitors seasonal and part-timeworkers assigned to park and zoo facilities. Performs preventativemaintenance and repairs to small engines, including greasing, cleaning,and sharpening blades.
