Write citations for parking violations with written hand-held recorder. May be called upon to report to the UMD Parking Advisory Board regarding contested parking citations. Reports damage or malfunctioning of parking meters to Supervisor . Keep record of habitual violators. Works with traffic control situations giving out information to the public regarding parking, building and department locations. Explains parking ordinances to the public. Relieves parking attendant in the pay lot booth ,may be used to cover a pay lot booth in certain situations. The Employer retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position. Qualifications Required Qualifications High school graduation or equivalent; experience in a position involving public contact.
