Overview

　　Position Summary Details The Parking Attendant provides general cleaning, event work and minor maintenance assistance.

　　Essential Functions • Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities. Performs minor cleaning duties, such as vacuuming, wiping down desks/office equipment/parking equipment • Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems • Directing traffic and working in close proximity to moving traffic helping customers enter and exit parking facilities. • Emptying trash and recycling waste stations • Driving golf cart around traffic and pedestrians. • Occasional standing for long periods of time 2-4 hours. • Traffic control during event parking. Responsibilities • May remove stains from carpet using chemicals and cleaning solutions. May also sweep walks, rake leaves, or perform other incidental seasonal tasks. • Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment. • Gathers and empties trash/recycling. • Wipes and cleans office desks, chairs and equipment. • Cleans and polishes various surfaces in parking lots. • Removes graffiti from any areas in parking facility. • Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. • Drives vehicles to perform cleaning work and machine maintenance including golf cart/UTV. • May be expected to make basic repairs to parking equipment. • Flagging traffic during event parking ingress. • Assisting customers with using payment station during event parking egress. • Miscellaneous duties as assigned. Qualifications • Must be 18 years of age or older • Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available Preferred Qualifications: • Customer Service Experience • 1 yr of similar work experience
