　　Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts

　　FTE: Per Diem, variable hours per 2 week pay period

　　JOB SUMMARY:

　　The Parent Liaison position acts as a liaison and advocate for patients and families to enhance their control with the treatment process to enhance their quality of care. This position participates as a member of the healthcare team and organizes and participates in family support meetings, events, and activities.

　　MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

　　High school diploma, GED, or Equivalent

　　1 year of experience

　　Experience working with children with acute or chronic illness

　　PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:

　　Associate’s Degree

　　2 years of experience

　　Prior care experience being a parent or primary caregiver of a child with acute or chronic illness

　　Experience in event planning

　　Experience with community agencies

　　Experience in fund raising

　　Bilingual

　　The current salary range for this position is $20.00 to $27.50.

　　A candidate’s placement in the range will be determined based on the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
