This is the opportunity you've been waiting for!Coffman Engineers is seeking a technically savvy, outgoing, self-motivated Senior Land Development Civil Engineer with 10 plus years of experience to expand our Seattle office's growing civil engineering department.Applicants must be well versed in civil engineering land development, including project management, multidiscipline coordination, site layouts, grading plans, storm-water management facilities, water quality, and site utilities. Experience with public utility projects and/or Seattle Area experience will be looked upon favorably.This role comes with the chance to participate in developing technical proposals and take a proactive lead role in marketing to commercial, institutional, and industrial clients. You will have the opportunity to help build, manage, and mentor a strong team of civil engineering professionals within a collaborative multi-discipline office. Our Seattle team often works with Coffman offices from around the country which helps to offer a wide variety of interesting projects, including international projects. Every day is a new adventure! Professional development and advancement opportunities are available, including ownership, on-the-job training and mentorship to help you achieve your potential.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringWashington Civil Engineer (P.E.) registration requiredMinimum of 10 years of professional experienceExperience collaborating with local architectural/engineering community is a strong plusExperience in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Microsoft office and other software is a plusExcellent verbal, written and organizational skillsStrong project management skillsClient management skillsExperience serving as a prime consultant is a plusExperience with zoning entitlements and permit procurement is a plusExpected annual salary of $104,000 - $150,000.This position is not eligible for sponsorship.Additional InformationWhy You Want To Work HereCoffman truly focuses on its employees.
