The Hale Malama Parent Consultant is responsible for providing supervision, consultation, support and training to Hale Malama Medically Complex Resource Homes. The Parent Consultant plans, coordinates and oversees services for young children in all aspects of their care. The Parent Consultant also provides training, support and counseling, mentorship to the biological parents, relative caregivers or long-term caregiver to assist in the goal of reunification or the subsequent placement of the child. The Parent Consultant must demonstrate an active commitment to the Catholic Charities Mission and strive to incorporate the four Core Values in all aspects of daily work.

EDUCATIONAL and WORK REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of masters degree in social work or related human services/counseling/medical field or BSN/RN from an accredited school is required. Minimum of three years combined experience in the area of child welfare, medical or medical pediatrics and working with families is required.

COMPENSATION: $43,262 - $49,509
