Summary You will serve as a PARALEGAL SPECIALIST in the LEGAL DEPARTMENT of MARCORSYSCOM. Responsibilities You will process FOIA requests that typically involve planning extensive, highly complex and critical initiatives that affect the quality and efficiency of the program. You will Advises the requester of the legal stipulations under which the records/information was withheld. You will prepare all necessary correspondence notices, internal memoranda or other documentation necessary for the case. You will identify and develops ways to resolve conflicting opinions regarding objectives or changes in legislation, policies, and regulations pertaining to the release of potentially protected information. You will provide guidance and training on federal ethics laws to include conflicts of interest, acceptance of invitations, gifts, pre- and post-employment matte.rs, and use of government resources. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
