Description

　　Robert Half is assisting a government entity in the search of a paralegal to join a busy department. Paralegals with a government background and/or interested in learning, would be an asset to this team.

　　Tracking legislation, creating reports on findings, and updating teams on new procedures

　　Conduct legal research in order to cite check various documents

　　Maintain and update case matters and support litigation requests

　　Draft memos and summaries of intergovernmental agreements and other contracts

　　Requirements

　　Willing and able to own projects, writing and negotiating, planning and organizing

　　Should possess a thorough knowledge of legal research and cite checking

　　Accurate, attentive, and experience handling sensitive or confidential information

　　Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

　　Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation

　　Prior exposure to tracking and summarizing legislative findings
