We are seeking a Paralegal Manager to lead and manage paralegals acrossoffices and departments. In this newly created role, you will take anactive lead in engaging with practice groups, lawyers, and firmadministration to ensure efficient support and high-quality legal work. Thesuccessful candidate will have strong critical thinking and creativeproblem-solving skills, including the ability to communicate well with alllevels of personnel. This is a hybrid position and can be based out of ourMinneapolis or Denver office.
In this role, you will:
Lead and manage the paralegal support function, including recruiting,hiring, utilization and training, and professional development.Coordinate and participate in orientation and onboarding for all newparalegals, ensuring appropriate training and access to resources.Manage employee performance, employee relation issues and counseling forparalegals in conjunction with Human Resources.Lead and manage the performance evaluation process including contactinglawyers to participate in the evaluation process; review completedevaluations and conduct annual performance reviews with supervisees.Actively engage with practice groups and individual lawyers in order to betterunderstand their needs and the expertise and strengths of the paralegals toensure high quality legal work.Manage paralegal workflow, capacity, assignments, and utilization.Ensure timely and efficient support to lawyers and clients.Approve employee PTO requests and timecards in Time and Attendance System.May perform other duties as assigned, including providing additional supportto Practice Group Directors.
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant work experience.At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal.At least 3 years of experience managing a large team of paralegals or othertimekeeping professionals, preferably across offices and multiple departments.Demonstrated financial acumen, particularly productivity metrics in billable/ professional services context.Strong, well-developed employee relations skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills; demonstrated analyticalability; ability to set priorities; knows ethical boundaries of positionand when to consult with management; responsible; resourceful.Strong critical thinking skills and ability to use good judgement in solvingproblems and resolving conflict.Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at alltimes.Ability to communicate and work with all levels of personnel; strongconflict management and coaching skills.Preferred:
Experience managing paralegals in a law firm.Transactional paralegal experience.Member of a professional paralegal association

The pay range for this position in Colorado on y is an annual salary of$107,000 to $131,000.
