Robert Half Legal Permanent Placement is seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our client' team as a Contracts Paralegal Specialist in the Framingham/Marlborough area. This role will involve supporting our contract administration efforts with a strong ability to exercise sound independent judgment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with contract management software and thrive under minimal supervision. A proactive approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently are essential to succeed in this role.

Key Skills and Abilities

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other database applications; Lotus Notes experience considered a plus.

Professional and confident demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Superior writing and communication skills, essential for preparing documentation and reports.

Proven capacity to manage workloads effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

Review purchase orders and manage contract documentation, including amendments, close-outs, and ancillary documents (e.g., bonds, insurance certificates, contract assemblies).

Oversee the preparation, submission, and maintenance of company contractor and engineering licenses.

Track and reconcile internal departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with annual forecasts and plans.

Organize and maintain legal department files, including uploading and monitoring documents with expiration dates.

Collect, secure, and manage company confidential and proprietary financial data for operational reports and PowerPoint presentations.

Coordinate with the corporate risk manager on insurance matters, including claims, certificates of insurance, and annual renewals.

Assist the General Counsel with special assignments and projects as needed.

4-year business degree is preferred.

Experience in legal assistant, paralegal, or contract specialist roles is a significant advantage.

Familiarity with contract lifecycle management systems is strongly preferred.

Knowledge of legal processes, particularly with contracts, is beneficial.
