Description

A high-end midsized firm is seeking a new paralegal for their LA office. This is a new paralegal position the firm is adding due to growth. My team has worked with this firm for years, and we have placed several attorneys and support staff here. Everyone raves about the tight-knit work culture, sophisticated work, and onsite perks!

This person will be responsible for a variety of litigation paralegal tasks. This paralegal will handle employment, commercial, class action, real estate, and other complex litigation. This paralegal will be responsible for:

Discovery

eDiscovery

Subpoenas

State and federal court filings

Legal research

Preparing for trials, hearings, depositions, etc. (trial binders, notebooks, lists of witnesses and exhibits, etc.)

The ideal paralegal will have at least 3 years of litigation experience, although 5+ years is preferred. A paralegal certificate or experience billing time is preferred, but not necessarily required.
