A local firm is looking for an experienced Family Law Paralegal to our team, based in Southborough, Massachusetts. This is a contract job with a strong chance of becoming a contract-to-hire opportunity. As a Paralegal, your primary focus will be on managing cases, communicating effectively with clients and attorneys, and ensuring all necessary documentation is filed with the court system. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in regular interaction with attorneys, keeping them informed on case progress and updates

• Manage and maintain case documents using Case Management Software

• Draft and review legal documents for accuracy and compliance

• Communicate with new clients, gathering essential information for case preparation

• Handle client financials, ensuring all details are up-to-date and accurate

• Liaise with the court, ensuring all necessary filings are completed in a timely manner

• Keep the calendar updated with important dates and deadlines related to cases

• Administer claims, ensuring they are handled efficiently and effectively

• Utilize your knowledge of Family Law to assist in case management and client consultation.

Requirements • Proficiency in Case Management Software

• Demonstrable experience in Briefing

• Expertise in Claim Administration

• Familiarity with Family Law

• Must possess a paralegal certification or degree in a related field

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality

• Proficiency in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
