As a primary support contact for SAP application end-usersin the US business hours, you will work to identify issues that arise inSAP or applications interfacing with SAP and drive them to resolution.You will also work on strategic initiatives to support our SAPmodernization efforts, SAP deployments, data migrations and systemintegration efforts. The right candidate will own and drive incidents tosuccessful closure, communicate clearly and effectively with other ITand business teams, perform root cause analysis of incident to preventrecurrence, perform impact analysis of desired changes, build and testsystems changes, and identify areas of improvement associated withplatform performance and opportunities to enable business processes andrequirements. Key Responsibilities Responsible for owning, tracking anddriving SAP Basis incidents to closure in US business hours. Effectivelytransition-in and transition-out tickets and other project work to peersin other geographic locations. Accountable for running an optimal SAPecosystem to support our business partners. Accountable for driving rootcause and corrective actions via problem ticketing process. Focus shouldbe to prevent incidents from occurring again. Clearly communicate withother global IT teams on SAP Basis driven projects. Participate in otherIT infrastructure and SAP application projects. Should not be afraid tovoice opinions. Design and implement solutions using change managementprinciples. Adherence to the change management and SQCDP principles isnon-negotiable. Prepare and maintain documentation for daily tasks andprojects. Show the ability to develop and mentor other team members.Develop and support effective data migration and SAP modernizationprojects.
