Robert Half is seeking a California experienced litigation paralegal for a remote job opportunity. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of recent experience with California Civil Code of procedures experience defending businesses and insurance carriers.

Position Overview: As a contract paralegal you will collaborate closely with the managing attorney and legal support team to aid in the development and execution of legal strategies, trial preparation, and discovery process. Your expertise in civil litigation cases will be instrumental in ensure success in this role.

Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.

Assist in the drafting and of motions, pleadings, and legal documents.

Prepare for depositions, hearings, and trials.

Manage and oversee the discovery process, including document review and production.

Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and execute effective litigation strategies.

Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients throughout the legal proceedings.

Stay current with relevant laws and regulations related to civil litigation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Paralegal

• Proficiency in using Case Management Software

• Demonstrated ability in Calendar Management

• Experience in handling Civil Litigation processes

• Knowledge of Insurance Defense Litigation

• Expertise in preparing Discovery Responses

• Ability to manage Discovery Requests efficiently

• Proven skills in Court Filing procedures

• Fluency in Spanish a plus
