The Panel Manager will be responsible for managing a team of two Panel Shop Supervisors, ensuring the efficient and quality-driven execution of tasks, and maintaining a safe and productive working environment. The ideal candidate Sets priorities for production schedules and helps coordinate manpower requirements. Will help coordinate continuous improvement projects and lean initiatives to improve plant efficiency. Maintenance, Shipping/Receiving and Quality Departments will not fall under direct control of role but will interact daily with said activities. Leadership and technical expertise will play a crucial role in achieving our production goals.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures department meets daily objectives in terms of Safety, On time delivery of job orders,Accurate employee documentation of work completed, and Quality.Responsible for front line supervision of hourly workforce where required.Required to handle frontline HR issues with plant supervisors.Ensures coordination of daily production schedules to meet or exceed customer delivery requirements. Capacity planning and other related activities will be necessary to ensure efficient workflow.Coordinates plant headcount to match production requirements including over time.Role supports continuous improvement culture including 5S organization and visual management systems.Troubleshoot technical problems and provide guidance to the Panel Shop Supervisors as needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises Production Supervisors and carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization's procedures. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding; addressing complaints and resolving problems, and is involved on the hiring process for departments.

Bachelor of Science Degree, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, plus 10+years' experience in managing capital equipment manufacturing. Minimum 3+ years related experience supervising multiple persons preferred. Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Will have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Must have the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Must have basic reading and writing skills in the English language.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
