　　As professionals, it is our responsibility to carefully pack and load the clients possessions, that includes the transporting, and unloading. As a packer, we must possess a wide array of skills to perform the job effectively.

　　About the role

　　Our packers are members of a team responsible for safely and efficiently packing and storing items for residential relocation. This role requires physical strength, stamina, and coordination skills to ensure that the items are packed without damage. Packing can involve physically demanding tasks like lifting heavy boxes and potentially navigating stairs. In addition to the physical aspects, this job involves working under tight timelines to ensure moves are timely completed.

　　Duties and ResponsibilitiesSort, organize and pack household goods to be moved.Packing and wrapping fragile items to prevent damage during transportation.Unpacks and sets up the clients possessions and/or household goods in the new location.Follows safety protocols to avoid injuries or damages to the clients possessions or property.Label packages/boxes with the relevant informationReceives instruction from crew leader and adheres to all company policies and safety rules.Represents the Company in a professional manner.Works with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction and contract compliance.Assists/helps with the pick-up (loading), transportation, and delivery (unloading and placement) of household goods in accordance with established standards and procedures.Routinely involves lifting, movement, and placement of heavy items by hand or with the assistance of material handling equipment (hand-truck or dolly).Providing excellent customer service.

　　Qualifications and SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.Valid drivers license and clean driving record preferred but not required.Previous experience in the moving industry preferred but not required.Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes and furnitureExcellent communication and people skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to unexpected changes.Ability to work overtime, travel, evening/weekend work etc.
