Job Overview
Ensures safe, appropriate, and economical use of drugs through theapplication of specialized skills and knowledge in pediatric patient care.This team member is part of the Critical Care Competency Group. As a member ofthis group, the pharmacist will have the opportunity to work withmultidisciplinary teams caring for our critical care population. Coverageareas include neonatal intensive care, pediatric intensive care, cardiacintensive care, emergency department, cardiac transplant, labor &delivery, and the operating room. This pharmacist will serve as themedication expert on the multidisciplinary team, review and verify orders,perform therapeutic drug monitoring, participate in code response, answerdrug information questions, and more. Qualifications
Education: Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree.Experience: Completion of one year pharmacy residency.Equivalency: One year of pharmacy work experience accepted in lieu ofresidency.Licensure: State of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)Pharmacist license.
