JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview As an Outside Plant Engineer, you willdevelop new skills, work in a safety-minded environment, and join us inexpanding technology for a better community. The primary responsibilityof the Outside Plant Engineer is to help define a build project from jobdefinitions, network integration needs, connection prints, overall pathplanning review to include pictures of site, node integration, areasresources to include buildings, ground and aerial assets and then tohelp get a \"Project Packet\" developed. In addition the Outside PlantEngineer will also help drive the project through the system for finaldevelopment and budgeting. The Outside Plant Engineer will also supportthe design team with project detail, images and additional research andresource materials. Responsibilities As an Outside Plant Engineer (OPE),you will oversee projects from concept to completion. In addition, youwill: Develop, maintain and manage detail project plans Drive yourprojects through all phases of construction, including scheduling,budgets and resource management Complete job site walkouts andfacilitate project meetings Meet deadlines as set by the customer whilemaintaining a high level of quality Network and asset knowledge andplanning to include Aerial & Underground assets and network inventoryknowledge.
