　　Role:

　　This position is responsible for supervising warehouse associates; training, scheduling, directing work, tracking performance and ensuring a safe working environment.

　　Role Responsibilities:

　　Supervise warehouse associates in aspects of order selection, loading, shipping, replenishment, receiving, put away and/or stock rotation

　　Manage and be actively involved in coaching, mentoring, career development, training, and performance management of associates to assist associates in consistently meeting company productivity and customer service standards

　　Effectively schedule warehouse personnel to achieve productivity objectives within the warehouse

　　Provide leadership and compliance on company safety programs, sanitation and loss prevention direction to warehouse associates

　　Conduct performance evaluations and disciplinary action in conjunction with the Night Shift Manager

　　Supervise good housekeeping practices and administer cost reduction action plans

　　Performs other duties as assigned by Outbound Warehouse Manager.

　　Ensure implementation of and compliance with all applicable regulations/laws and company policies, including but not limited to Food Safety Policy, SOP’s & regulations, Code of Business Conduct & Ethics, Antitrust policies and regulations, etc.

　　Responsible for compliance with all Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) comprising Sysco’s Food Safety Program, specific for the assigned role.

　　Assist Food Safety Program Manager in ensuring compliance to Sysco’s Food Safety Program that leads to compliance with third party certification and customer requirements.

　　Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements (About you):

　　Minimum 1 year supervisory experience, including pallet jack and forklift experience.

　　High School diploma, post-secondary education an asset

　　Must have WHMIS and a good understanding and working knowledge of SyscoSafe

　　First Aid/ CPR training will be considered an asset

　　Proficient with MS Word and Excel, IDS, SWMS, Selector Pro (SOS), and Loader Pro (SLS) an asset

　　Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and effective group presentation skills

　　Excellent organizational and time-management skills

　　Strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task.

　　Teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
