Responsibilities

Reporting to the Outbound Manager, the Outbound Senior will have the following responsibilities:

Assist management with planning and leading teams

Identify and report damages, shortages or overages on unloaded trucks

Mentor, coach and give performance feedback to employees and assist management in facilitating employee development

Loading and unloading of trucks

Picking and put-away of all product types

Maintain a thorough knowledge of all stock, stock locations, model numbers, manufacturer specifications and handling instructions

Verify and report on inventory; ensure accuracy in the generation of reports

Process store entry stock transfers

Ensure compliance with all company health and safety, security and operational policies and procedures

Qualifications

Knowledge and use of equipment such as; Power Cart, Order picker, RF scanner, as well as forklift

Maintain proficient knowledge of department systems and procedures

Proficient level on WMS systems and procedures is considered an asset

Proficient verbal and written English communication skills

Must be able to lift 50 lbs plus

Proficient knowledge of safe material handling techniques

Leadership and process improvement

Takes charge and good team attitude

Minimum 6 months working experience in a Warehousing/Distribution environment

Minimum 6 months working experience in a computerized inventory controlled environment

Flexibility to work any shift, including evenings and weekends
