1.Promptly and professionally answer phone calls received in the Order Taking department.2.Receive request for transportation from recipients and compile essential information necessary to accurately schedule transportation needs.3.Keep adequate hand written trip information in addition to the Trax database.4.One on One contact with Doctors offices for additional trip information and/or clarification.5.Enter trip information faxed in for Urgent Care trips in a timely manner.6.Return trip confirmation by fax for all faxed trips.7.Review and Maintain up to date client information on all calls. 8.Inform dispatch and/or sub-contractors by phone and fax of all cancellations, short notice (waived trips) or any change that may affect the current or next day schedule.9.Verify eligibility for all scheduled trips.10. Review call logs during down time for errors.11. Complete denials and give to the Reporting Specialist.12. Keep all necessary files up-to-date (examples: Referrals, Verification of need, etc.)13.Assist Department Coordinator as needed 14. Demonstrate appropriate phone manners on every call.15. Use all time efficiently
