Job Purpose
Lead the HFM team and support the Oracle EPM Suite of applications in Planning, Consolidation and Reporting.Support the stakeholders and the team for managing all HFM activities around month end close process.Oversight for the Monthly maintenance, including metadata and mapping changes, changes to standard reports, supporting/coordinating software updates and patches, and any related testing, and managing all utilities and tools, including security for users.Ensure governance on the user provisioning process.Ensure compliance with Dana standards and manage the risk of Enterprise Applications that support the Finance function.Primary escalation for change and release management and production break fixes.Supports system requirements that relate to application support and configurations.Assessing how the system can help support changes in the business environment including acquisitions, dispositions, retrospective application of new accounting standards, and executing plans and developing plans to leverage the application technology, e.g., help local markets map data through FDM and develop reports to meet local reporting requirements.Exhibit a thorough understanding of the importance of a controlled environment for tracking configuration or data changes.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Lead Oracle EPM/ HFM systems areas for Dana IT globally.Define and align standards for HFM Planning & Consolidation solutions.Establish governance processes to manage requirements, change requests and prioritization.Oversee all HFM projects and support tasks ensuring timely and quality delivery, following Dana's PMO methodology.Lead and provide oversight for all the HFM Administrative tasks.Prepare HFM for each month end close as well as budgeting/forecasting cycles.Monitor the loading, promotion, and consolidation of data in HFM.Monitor the data outputs (outbound interfaces and extracts)Must adhere to tight month end-close and reporting schedules.Process and track metadata changes in HFMMaintenance of rules logic, forms, and data grids within HFMMaintain controlled processes for loading and validation of data.Periodic review of existing users' security rightsConsult with the IT group to support system, servers, upgrades, and patches.Assist with training users on HFM and FR utilizing the UPK Training ToolCreate and maintain Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio (FR) reports, Smartview reports, and ad-hoc reporting.Develop and maintain an understanding of data sources and data outputs.Creation and implementation of process improvements which includes testing, validating and documenting change process.Assist with system configuration / modification to support acquisitions, divestitures, or retrospective accounting changes.Collaborate with business teams to develop or clarify requirements for improving and expanding the capability of Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Financial Reporting Studio (FR) and UPK Training Tool
Qualifications
EducationBachelor's Degree required, preferably in a related discipline, such as Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance or Management Master's degree in relevant discipline (or MBA) is highly preferred. Consulting background is a plus. PMP certification is a plus.
