　　In this key role, theSurgical Technicianis responsible for assisting the Perioperative team/ Registered Nurses in maintaining maximum work levels in an infection-free environment.

　　To anticipate the surgeon s needs and expedite the procedure, thereby minimizing the patient s exposure to trauma intra-operatively.

　　Will uphold policies and procedures in order to maintain a high level of service and professionalism.

　　REQUIREMENTS:

　　Graduate of an accredited surgical technician program. Certification required.

　　Maintains required BLS.

　　Knowledge of inventory control techniques

　　High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

　　On call required
