　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　We are looking for a compassionate and reliable OR scrub technician to provide technical support to patients of all populations. Our team is amazing, we consider ourselves a family who work hard to support each other and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. 　　· You will assist circulating nurse in setting up room ensuring presence and proper functioning of all necessary equipment and instruments.

　　· You will participate in sponge, needle and instrument counts, readies sutures and passes all instruments, equipment, sponges, medications, etc. to surgeons and assistants as needed and/or requested.

　　· You will pass specimen from surgeon to circulating nurse. Responsible for specimen while on field.

　　· You will perform related duties including but not limited to: assist in cleaning and stocking; picking cases for next day; housekeeping duties; and attending staff meetings. Directly involved in room turnover between cases.

　　· You will work as a collaborative member of the OR team. Demonstrates ability to adjust to different situations at any given time. Anticipate needs of surgical team on field. Takes direction from circulating nurse.

　　What qualifications you will need:

　　Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

　　Certification: Completion of Surgical Technician Course or equivalent required. If hired after August 2019, must hold a current CST

　　Experience: Two years OR scrubbing experience preferred.
