We deliver and coordinate a continuum of high-quality healthcare with the goal of improving the health of our communities. *JOB SUMMARY Expedites, directs, and manages the efficient flow of the elective OR schedule in collaboration with the OR Manager and Assistant Nurse Manager. Monitors STAT procedures booked, assuring cases are appropriately dispersed throughout the operative schedule in a timely manner, while maintaining a global view, open communication and collaboration with Dept of Anesthesia, Surgeons, and other interdepartmental resources such as Bed Management, the Nursing Supervisor, Same Day Surgery, E1 Ambulatory Surgery and PACU. Other Nursing units to include but not limited to Physician’s Offices, Radiology, Cath Lab, IR, and the Emergency Dept. Provides oversight to the UC role at the main OR desk.
