When hospitals cannot provide the advanced care, expertise and new treatment options their patients require, they turn to us. *JOB SUMMARY Responsible for all charge capture elements associated with the Hartford region main OR, West Hartford Surgery Center, BJI and GI areas. Significant interaction with clinicians, surgeons, supply chain and outside vendors. Coordinates scheduling with outside vendors for surgical cases. Works effectively as a team member within the department and with customers, both internal and external, to provide quality service through effective communication, cooperation, and collaboration. Minimum Requirements Education * Associates Degree or equivalent work experience. Experience * 1-3 years of experience with purchasing and inventory control or hospital supplies and equipment or hospital billing. Preferred Requirements Experience * Experience with PeopleSoft and EPIC * *Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements* * * Computer skills which include in excel and Word * Strong customer service skills required. * Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email and in a group.
